Pros & Cons...you get what you pay for.

Pros: Free Internet access (very easy to access, through Google). Great AC (my husband loved it). Near Universal Studios and there were many restaurants a block or two away. Cons: We had requested a crib in advance for our youngest son, and it wasn't in the room when we checked in. Reported it to the staff, and they said they'd come over with the crib. About 20 minutes later, a staff person came to our room and said there was no crib. My husband tried again in the evening, and the overnight staff member promised that there would be a crib by 9 AM. Still no crib. We gave up and did our best with our son. The card keys were troublesome, and the door was hard to open. Ice machine runs out of ice often.

Filthy Carpets

Changed rooms as the wiring was dubious, and the safe did'nt work. Second room wiring still dubious and safe did'nt work for the full two weeks. Both rooms were dirty, and the carpets filthy.You had to keep something on your feet at all times. We did'nt expect a palace at these rates, but we did expect it to be clean. We even had to pay $50 for extras which included phone calls, shuttle bus, AND car parking and we did'nt even have a car.

Do not risk it with this place. It is cheap, yes, but you actually get less than your money's worth. The room smelled like a mixture of sweaty socks and burnt hair. There were hairs scattered all over the bathroom (toilet, bath and floor). The coffee maker was covered in a film of scum. The sink was covered in stains and some sort of residue. Something had been either spilled or poured down the TV screen. The carpet was so filthy it appeared to be laminated. You'll need a shower and an antibiotic after a night in this horrible place. Do yourself a favor and spend a couple more bucks for some measure of comfort and security.

Where do I start ? Dirty rooms, mold on walls, cracked sink, tiny freezing pool, poor catering facilities, carpets that turned the kids feet black, noisy skip emptying at 05.30am from neighbouring restaurant, staff couldn't careless - got £25 compensation when I got home - what a joke, it was truely awful !
