like paying $234 a night is not ENOUGH...they have no vending machines to get any snacks so therefore you are stuck ordering room service and just one can drink cost $4.25 alone..the hotel is nice as well as the employees...the pool area is awesome though and has a large movie screen to watch while swimming and some good shops but very pricey..and I have noticed they do leave luggage unattended so I would skip the valet and luggage help if you don't want anything stolen...oh and you have no free internet there either they charge for that too...bed was not comfortable either, was way to hard...I've stayed in cheaper better hotels!

My family and I had a wonderful time at the Royal Pacific Resort. The service was great from the moment we drove up to unpack our luggage and park. The room was lovely and we had NO problems at all. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. We felt a sincere anad warm welcome to the resort when we first arrived and we will definitley return very soon. Thanks....

First off, we had to wait 2 hours at check in because the hotel decided to change our room type at the last minute. Secondly, they tried to charge us for the original upgraded room type price for a standard room charge! Last, our luggage was unattended for 2 hours during this process - when we got to our rooms, we discovered our digital camera had been stolen and the hotel is doing NOTHING about it! VERY UPSET - I WILL NEVER RETURN!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel before leaving for Italy. The hotel is beautiful. The room was nice. The happy hour and breakfast served on our floor was a nice touch. Both my husband and I are severely allergic to shellfish. When we went to the free happy hour, I asked if any of the dishes contained seafood and explained our allergies. I was assured by the staff (who spoke very little english) that there was no seafood on the buffet. Lo and behold, there was crab mixed into one of the salads. I immediately notified a staff member and advised her that we needed Benadryl immediately. We were told they were sending someone up right away. 15 minutes later a security guard showed up. Did not ask our names or room number. Asked how long it would be before we would show signs of the allergy and then we were promptly told that we could go to the store in the lobby and purchase our own Benadryl. This causing a 45 minute delay from when we ingested the shellfish. We purchased the Benadryl. We notified the front desk upon leaving the next day about the incident and our unsatisfaction. We filled out a comment card. As of this date, we have never even received so much as an apology from this hotel. We will never stay at a Loew's hotel again!!!!! What would have been a nice evening for us and the beginning of a great vacation was ruined by the lack of communication with the staff and their failure to follow up on our complaint. Definitely not worth it!!!!!!

I was in this hotel for a total of 3 days & 2 nights. I most say that being a hotelier myself, this hotel is exceptional. The lobby area, rooms, restaurants, etc. etc. is immaculate. Outstanding service, very professional staff members specially Ms. Ada Vasquez (Front Desk Agent) whom checked us in and assigned us rooms # 4343 & 4341. As an annual pass member from Universal Studios I have made up my mined and decided to always stay at this property. Keep up the great work and Thank you for making my stay extremely pleasant and look forward staying with you very soon once again.

We had a great time. The pool area was fun for the kids. The breakfast was great. We especially liked getting to skip the long lines with our room key.

Top Local Tips for Orlando

Too much money for what you get Checking in took a long time, rooms are small and dark, but clean and comfortable. Not a lot going on when we were there. They never told you what was available for you to do. One nice things is you can use amenities at all 3 loews hotels with your room key, but once again, bring your money or your room key to charge it all! My overall complaint is they charge too much for the rooms and then charge you for all of their amenities. That is a turn off for me.

Express tickets Buy them!!!! so worth it. We got on rides 6-8 times over and over while same people were in line. Do not buy those meal all day tickets, beverages are not included and menu is limited like you would not believe, big waste of money

Universal Studios Express Pass and Meal Deals If you stay at a Universal hotel, your room key is an express pass for all rides. You will have a separate line at all attractions and this will HUGELY cut down your wait times. Each member of your party gets their own key/pass. You could buy a pass for $45 (a limited number are available each day), so if you are traveling with a family of 4 the passes alone are worth $200 each day. And you will LOVE these passes!! It's the only way to go! The meal deals are also great - you can eat an unlimited amount each day at the parks for a reduced rate at specific restaurants. The food is all trans fat free and there are healthy choices available for everyone. Kids have a restricted menu at each place (check before you get in line in case you don't like the choices) but adults can have anything on the menu. And it's all you can eat!! The drink deal isn't worth it unless you've got big drinkers.
