Top Local Tips for Orlando

Get the Prepaid Toll Option Florida has tons of toll roads--you'll have to pay tolls when you're on the highway and getting off the exits, and they add up quickly (easily several dollars on a one-way trip). Ask the rental car agent to add the prepaid toll option (usually called Sunpass/E Pass). By prepaying the tolls, you can continue driving through specially designated lanes, and you don't have to stop every time there's another toll plaza. It cost us about $5/day and was well worth the money.
