Avoid taxis Use Mears shuttle to get to/from hotels, and rent a car to get around if you need to go anywhere.

Eat Out If you have a car, you should dine elsewhere, if a budget is a concern.

In the Middle Kissimmee's Gaylord Palms is more expensive than Disney's Moderate Resorts, but the rooms at Gaylord Palms are nicer and there are more activities. It is less expensive than Disney's Deluxe hotels, but offers less convenience to the parks. In rain or shine the atrium is dry and air-conditioned. This location is an hour from Sanford's airport and 20 minutes from MCO, Orlando's main airport. It seems Kissimmee is easier on the budget than Orlando.
