Dirty place, rude staff

This place is a horror. No matter what you see online, no matter what the "model room" looks like, view the room you're actually checking into. Mine had a dirty and smelly carpet, furniture and sheets were the same.

You're guaranteed a weekly cleaning of the room...see if you get it.

And there was a particular concierge - nastiest little 'fellow' you'd never want to meet - incapable of customer service, but very capable of instructing paying customers in how to "address" him.

This place will sour your trip completely...unless you happen to win the lottery.

Unforgettable...in the worst way...

I used to do network installation across the US, and I've stayed in many hotels. This was the worst hotel I'd ever stayed in.

When you check in, they show you these beautiful, clean model rooms. What you get is a stained and funky-smelling carpet. They're supposed to clean the room once a week, but in my 3 week stay that never happened. I had to clean my own sheets and towels. Management is a joke - they haven't a clue about scheduling or running a hotel..."always friendly, always clean" - a total lie.

A few of the staff try to do their job, but many have serious attitude problems and have business at all working with the public. Case in point - R. Morris. This boy has no business dealing in customer service because he doesn't grasp the concept. He was extremely arrogant, rude and condescending - a complete and total ass.

Look a bit more...I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy.

hotel laundry As any seasoned business traveler knows, hotel laundry service is expensive. That leaves travelers with the options of either 1) hand washing in the sink and hanging items up to dry on hangers 2) loading up all your laundry in said rental car and going to a laundry mat or 3) hoping that your hotel has a laundry machine and drying tumbler on property. Out of all these options in Orlando in particular, you are better off with option 3 as in doing your laundry on site in the hotel guest washeteria. Orlando hotels usually have washing machines and tumble dryers that range from 75 cents to 2 dollars. That is per load, per wash and dry. Public laundry mats in Orlando are usually expensive and not comfortable ( i.e. crowded and humid). Hand washing and drip drying in hotels is good in europe, but for the love of pete, don't hang your hangers on sprinkler heads. That can cause lots of trouble.

great attractions Great amusement parks. Those seem to be really the only things Orlando has.
