Top Local Tips for Orange Park

Very Impressed I was very impressed when I checked into the Howard Johnson and I was trying to find the location of my room. As I was riding around, I notice some of the house cleaning employees were outside. They were very attentive to me riding around and flagged me down and inquired if I was looking for my room. I told them yes and they very politely stopped what they were doing and directed me to the right area of where my room was. Then, when I parked and wallked up to the room, there was another employee who welcomed me and asked if I needed any assistance getting to my room. I was very pleased with the hospitality. When I entered the room, everything was very clean down to the inside of the refrigerator, microwave and bathroom. I also noticed that it was a safe in the room. The only thing that I would like to see the staff do differently is inform the guest that there is a safe in the room and ask them upfront if they plan to use it and explain that it is a fee a day as long as you are there. I had to tell the clerk at check out that I didn't use the safe so that they wouldn't automatically charge me for daily use. Other than that, I would stay again and recommend this hotel to friends and family.
