Top Local Tips for Miami Beach

Location is utmost importance Make sure you REALLY research the place you are staying in! Go on multiple websites and do your part in the search! Also, get a room that is close to the primary location you are there for. Taxis are too expensive and will eat into the money you may have saved in the room! The bus is ok, but you might be waiting up to 30 minutes for yours. Scooters are the way to go for just getting around...be careful! Also, watch out for the meal specials! Make sure you find out EXACTLY what is on special as they will upsell you on other things without you knowing it. other than that, your stay should be a good one!

Parking When booking a hotel make sure there is parking available for you. Most parking is metered or paid and not likely to be available to you. Check out the reviews, AAA anything to make sure you are getting what you paid for. Not much to do but drive to other destinations. No major resteraunts in the area.

Location If you want to be walking distance or cheap taxi distance to south beach, choose a HOTEL anywhere between 8th and 30th on Collins Avenue, Ocean Drive or Washington Ave
