| Too Overpriced |
Nice resort if you have no problem spending plenty of money. You basically have to pay extra for everything. The standard room are nothing to brag about. We got stuck with a first floor room in which the walls & the doors were dirty. Also there was a dead pidgeon right outside the window. Requested another room but never was accomodated. Maid service only vacuumed our room only one time since we stayed there & we were there for over a week. On the brighter side the food was very good and the outside settings, beach, pools, ponds were very nice. But the food is cheaper across the street. All in all not really a place to return, just can't afford it. |

| Nice Hotel on the Mend |
We like the hotel's amenities around the pool area, and the rooms are good to very good. It is an older hotel that has had a very big face lift but still maintains some of its classic Bal Harbour charm. Water slides for kids and a nice beach are big pluses. Minus is that they close down elements of service when their traffic dips, and if you happen to be there at that time, you may be paying the same rates as on those days that they keep all of the guest services open. Food prices in the restaurants are outrageous. Eat nearby. There are lots of choices. |
