| Overpriced glam with typical lousy South Beach service |

Yet another "boutique" hotel concept that while gorgeous in most ways, is horribly overpriced with typical horrible South Beach service! The only reason why the place is nice is because it is still new...give it a year or two and it will be as worn as ever. Understaffed, and definitely not worth the price they charge. It’s like paying for a five star hotel and then getting Ramada inn type service. Rooms are nice and spacious but don't even have a desk to work from...silly dual LCD TV setup that requires an engineering degree to figure out...not even a docking station to plug in an ipod...despite an over the top base sound system....nice pool deck and area...if they would just keep it clean and tidy.....overpriced restaurant with typical bitchy south beach type model/hostesses with entirely too much attitude.
Overall if the prices were half what they charged it would be worth it. You definitely do not get what you pay for here!

This is the first Hotel in Miami where service is outstanding. Loved Butler concept, felt like a VIP traveler, when in deed, I was not noted VIP. Staff is doing whatever/whenever is needed, from housekeeping to Front desk. Staff speaks several languages, which is abig help to voreign travelers. Rooms are clean and spacious. It is a bit expensive, but I rather pay high rate and recieve superb service. It was best vacation I ever had. Definitely coming back. |
