My son was brutally beat up in the hotel while we were there attending a family reunion. The hotel manager did absolutely nothing to ensure the thugs that beat up my son would be kicked out of the hotel. I had to personally call the police to find out who the assailants were. The security cameras don't work and there is no one there that knows how to operate them. I would recommend never to stay at that hotel. It totally ruined my family's reunion.

Managers are irresponsible and will not take care of any problem at all.
Bottom line, don't waste your money on a "Sick Motel" like this. With that kind of money you pay to this hotel; you deserve better.

While staying in the hotel 3 iPods went missing from the room on the same day. There was very little response or concern from the hotel staff about our safety or possessions. It seems with all the conflicting excuses from security, management, and housekeeping that there was a huge cover-up going on. With well over $1,000 worth of iPod accessories and songs there is an official police investigation into the occurrence at this sketchy hotel!

I used to stay here with my students when I had culinary competitions at Johnson and Wales ('99-02). Then I stayed here when I wanted to take my relatives to somewhere very nice for a GREAT price. Now I've moved to the Midwest (!) and I wanted to come back with a friend and the price has increased dramatically. Too bad. The beach is awesome, walking distance to everything. The rooms are very nice for the price.

I stayed at your hotel in January 2005 and I must say that I was quite disappointed with the customer service of your staff. Checking into the hotel was a real nightmare. It was a painfully long experience. There was some sort of mix up and took it a while before things were straightened out. It seemed like your staff did not know what they were. We experienced the same incompetency when checking out. When checking out the room rate for each night that we stayed at your hotel apparently doubled from what was originally quoted to me on your website at the time of booking. Again it took a great deal of time to adjust the hotel bill.
Furthermore, the hotel is in serious need of a renovation. The rooms were quite shabby and need to updated.
