Let me tell you guys a little story of the Days Inn...you want know what CRAP and SCUM is? that is only a few words to describe this SORRY EXCUSE for a hotel. On the night of New Years, my friends and I left our hotel room only to come back with our IPODS, Wallets, Cameras, and Jewelry all stolen.. We IMMEDIATLY went to look for hotel security only to find out his fat ass was sleeping in his little corner. The cops were called, they took a report as well as the hotel, NO MANAGER was on duty that night. We didn't even sleep that night there, and didn't even bother to check out yet. We come back in the morning to find out that nobody knew what was going on and that the manager once again "stepped" out. We really wanted to stay on the beach and enjoy the rest of our holiday and somewhat enjoy it, so they cut the ridiculous rate and we decided to stay one more night even though we had a bad feeling..we arrive in another room only to discover the damn lock with the handle fell off the door completely!! We received another room which wasn't even prepared yet, and step into a ice box, they had the air all the way up, the air as we were told had to be manually turn on/off by hotel maintenance. We went out that night and came back to a sauna in our room, so we called front desk to turn the air back on, I was told maintenance went home and they would be back in the morning very rudely. So, I was supposed to boil in the room? The next morning I called for extra towels and waited for almost an hour!! I got pissed and grabbed some from the housekeeping cart only to get a rude housekeeper screaming at me, Um, I called for towels a long time ago and now I have to do steal towels for myself?? at this point the $300 plus dollars they were charging us for two nights was not worth even a damn penny. We proceeded to check out and once again, no manager on duty, they gave us a run around that she "stepped" out for the 100th time..finally, after all the rude employees with there "ghetto" attitudes and sorry excuses for security, we decided to leave because obviously, they did not want to knowledge our presence, I was getting ready to sue this damn hotel and speak to there corporate offices, I had enough!!!!!. We leave and the general manager finally contacted us by phone, we turned back around and demanded we speak to her in person, we addressed all of the problems we had encountered, which she claimed she was unaware of and didn't even give us a genuine apology, at the end she comped the whole stay and that was that..Now, is that hotel service? I don't think so, is that a way to treat your customers? Even if this was the last place to stay on the beach and they charged $5 a night I still would NEVER stay here..your better off sleeping on the sand, it's cleaner and safer.
