We stayed here for 3 days prior to a cruise. we were not sure what to expect but it was okay. if you want luxury then expect to pay for it but for the cost we were satisfied. the rooms are old but the bedding and the washrooms were clean. the service was fine. the location was good, just a few feet from the beach. you can catch a bus to south beach easily and it only costs a few dollars! the north beach neighbourhood was fun. we enjoyed the multicultural aspect and the shops. all in all for the budget minded tourist, i would say go to this hotel. enjoy!

My wife and I spent 10 days in this hotel in middle to late January 2006. We found the hotel to be clean and comfortable. The staff was at all times courteous and helpful. When we had a plumbing problem in our room, they moved us immediately to another equally acceptable room with no fuss at all, even though it was a Sunday evening. The complementary breakfast was adequate, but not exciting, some fresh fruit and/or yogurt would have been welcome. The Mimo Deco style was not what we had expected, but it grew on us. All in all a very happy experience.
