My husband and I just got back from a Carribean vacation which included back to back cruises. We spent a night at this hotel upon arrival in Miami before our first cruise, one night in between cruises, and a night after the cruises were finished. We found the hotel to be great for this type of travel....friendly staff, comfortably clean beds, and good sized rooms with air conditioning and a room safe. Two of the rooms we stayed in also had a refrigerator. While the location is a bit noisy by day due to it's close proximity to the airport, the noise level decreases considerably at night...I'm assuming there aren't as many flights taking off. The pool is nice for a refreshing cool off from the hot sun, and most of the time we spent there, it was just the two of us. We found the free shuttle service they offer to be really good, as well as a big money saver!! When we arrived in Miami from Canada, we just called the hotel, and they sent a shuttle over to the airport to pick us up, so we didn't have to get a cab!! We thought it was great!! Also, on the days we cruised, the shuttle would come at 11 am. and drop us off right next to our ship, so there was never any wondering if you were going to the right place. All in all, we found the Days Inn to be a great value for the $$$$$$. We will definitely go back there the next time we do a cruise out of Miami!!
