Our room was not ready until after 4:00PM. We were told to use the bar or pool area. There was nowhere to sit and while we could not get an accurate count, and there were more than 150 people in the pool and 14 teenagers in the small hot tub at one time, including one child swimming naked. There was a diaper by the edge of the pool. As we stood in the bar area, we observed many people having others let them (and their 40 gallon coolers) into the pool area from the beach. We paid premium for a king suite and had a balcony that overlooked a parking lot. We had to call 4 times to get linens and two pillows for the pullout sofa. They never brought us blankets. Many individuals on the resort patio area were smoking cigars and drinking beers from their coolers. I typically stay at Marriotts because they are smoke free, so this was especially disgusting. This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had and I stay at hotels approximately 40-50 nights a year.
