WE DIDN'T WANT TO GET CAUGHT UP IN ALL THE TRAFFIC AND CONJESTION OF SOUTH BEACH, AND WE SAVED ABOUT $80/A NIGHT. WE HAD A DELIGHTFUL SWIMMING POOL, WITH TWO RESTAURANTS POOLSIDE AND WITH ROOM-SERVICE JUST LIKE A BIG HOTEL. FREE PARKING AND VERY FRIENDLY STAFF. WE WERE RIGHT NEAR THE AIRPORT EXPRESSWAY AND I-95 SO WE WERE ABLE TO MOVE QUICKLY TO ALL PARTS OF MIAMI. WE VERY MUCH RECCOMMEND THIS HOTEL, IF YOU WANT TO SAVE MONEY AND TIME IN MIAMI

Top Local Tips for Miami

Airports and Rental Cars The Fort Lauderdale airport (FLL) is about 25 miles north of Miami International (MIA). It is usually less expensive to fly to/from FLL. FLL is a much smaller airport with a smaller terminal. Is is easier to get into and out of FLL. There is a free shuttle from the terminal at FLL to the brand new rental car building where a large number of companies compete for your business. The shuttle assitant insists on handling your bags and expects a tip for doing so. We were there at the end of February and were able to find a spot rental for less than the cheapest rental we found on the internet beforehand. Driving out of the building is a little crazy though.

Rent a 5 Star Luxury Car by staying at a 2 Star over a 5 Star Hotel The Airport Red Carpet Inn had a Luxury Car rental with a Porshe, Corvette, Bmw, Mustang, Mini Cooper, Mercedes, and a Range Rover for rent for about $150/Day and my daily room rate was reduced from $80 to $68 with my AAA card; So I got to stay at a 2 star Hotel and drive a 5 Star car all aroung South Beach, Coconut Grove, Downtown paying much less than the $300 they wanted at the Hilton just a few blocks from the Airport Red Carpet Inn. I had a Blast valet parking at all the Clubs and Restaurants that I still had in my pocket left over after paying for my room and fancy car. I suggest this over the fluffy comfortor at the Hilton 5 Star Hotel.
