We arrived and asked not to be placed by the elevator, and we couldn't have been closer (on an admittedly "slow" weekend); no hairdryer, coffeemaker was missing a carafe (we were told to use a coffee cup as a replacement), and the sad breakfast was expensive. Staff was sweet but young and inexperienced. We checked out and went down the street to the Hilton, which gave us a suite, free cocktail hour, and free breakfast, all for the same price!

See manatee/dolphins Turn right out of the hotel lot, continiue east until Babcock and turn right. Make the first left onto Melbourne Ave. and follow it down to the river, where you can park and see dolphins and maybe manatee swimming in the shallow water.
