The Polynesian is a wonderful place to stay during your trip to Disney.
The boat landing and monorail service to the Disney Parks saves you a lot of time standing in line. The resort has several beaches on the freshwater lake next to the Magic Kingdom where you can sit in a cabana or lie in the hammock between the palms.
The resort offers boat rentals at very reasonable rates including mini race boats, catamarans and pontoon boats. We didn't get to see the lua show... -next time.
Nice pool with a water slide with lights in the tunnel. Gets crowded at times.
Not a lot to eat for vegetarians.

Actually, we were there about 10 years ago, and had a great time. We are planning to come back for our 50th anniversary.

Dining Plan saved big bucks! get the Disney dining plan. It saved us over $425! Also, if traveling with people with food allergies, don't worry. Every restaurant we dined at sent the Chef, not table server, but Chef to our table to discuss my son's allergies. From counter service to full service restaurants, our requests were taken seriously and with great help. Disney deserves an A+++!

Waterparks Try the water parks especially if it is hot. Typhoon Lagoon was the best. We would leave the amusement parks at about 3pm and go over to the water parks for a couple of hours to cool off.
