Great place for the price!

We stayed for six nights at this hotel and found it to be a wonderful place to stay for people on a budget, really anyone else too. The rooms were clean, the soap, shampoo, towels, etc. replenished daily, the food court was more than adequate for our needs. Don't believe all the bad reviews. While we were there the place was PACKED!!!! The reason for the rating of 8 - the main pool was closed for refurbishment for all but the last night of our trip. The weather wasn't all that great anyway, so it wasn't a major disappointment, but we should have been informed of the pool closing at the time of booking. The bus lines BACK from the parks are a bit long as there doesn't seem to be enough buses for such a large resort. To solve this problem, I suggest trying to get out of the parks at least an hour before closing to avoid a long wait. Once night we waited in line almost an hour, with two kids asleep in our arms and the other three whining about being tired. The next night we left the Magic Kingdom 45 minutes before close and got on the next bus withing 15 minutes. You can also see the fireworks just fine from the bus stop, so don't bother staying in the park for those unless you don't mind taking 30 minutes to get to the park exit (the crowds are slow moving and jam up the sidewalk, street, etc there are so many people.)and THEN waiting in a huge bus line. Very aggravating. To sum it up, All STar Movies is a great place to stay and I, personally, couldn't see what the other resorts had (we visited a few moderates and one deluxe for dinners)that would make me want to spend hundreds more to stay there.

Best Budget Disney Hotel ever!

Have stayed here 3 times and would never even consider staying at another hotel in Orlando (unless I won the lottery of course!!). Rooms are great, cast members are great, location is great. Need I say more!?
