Rooms were not ready by three, when we did get the rooms toilets still had "stains" beds unfinished. Went to leave the next morning only to find the safe destroyed. we went ahead and left and come back to find that my daughters Nintendo ds stolen from my book bag. The management, if you call them that, gave us the run around and delays. very disappointing. The restaurant was good but not enough to excuse the inept behavior from the management. Again if you stay there watch your stuff and keep it locked and secure. One further note do not use the elevators around 3 to 4 because all the housecleaning are using them for trash hauling. I will gladly e-mail pictures I have as to what this place really looks like.

This hotel is ideally sited for a short walk to either the Crossroads shopping and restaurant area or Downtown Disney.Buses to the theme parks are on the doorstep, staff very friendly and homely,restaurant menu choice and decor good. Really nothing to complain about and we do like high standards.

This tri-arc hotel tower is located on Disney property and has the distinct advantage of location and beautifully landscaped surroundings. There is a lovely outdoor pool area, and the attractive lobby bustles with activity. The staff is genial and helpful. Our spacious, well maintained room had a private balcony with a great view of Lake Buena Vista, Downtown Disney and the fireworks from both Epcot and The Magic Kingdom. Be sure to ask for a high up lakeside room. The room was only $89 per night and the bountiful breakfast buffet each day was a real bargain. The hotel is only 2 minutes away from The Crossroads Shopping Center which has an excellent supermarket, for snacks and sundries, and an abundance of bargain restaurants. You`ll enjoy returning to this attractive, quiet, comfortable hotel after a busy day in the theme parks.

Top Local Tips for Lake Buena Vista

ask before you get in! ask all the none marked cabs how much before you go anywhere otherwise they will add on more money, and watch out for the yellow cabs who dont put on the meter as they will charge anything for example, we came back from the premium outlets one yellow cab charged us around $8 and one $12 dollars notice the one with out the meter. the pool in the hotel is 24 hours nice to take a dip after the parks.

Hotels and Transportation As a veteran of numerous trips to Walt Disney World I feel qualified to speak on this subject. When choosing a hotel and you have small children choose one that caters to small children. A hotel that looks great to you may not be great for the kids. Location, location, location. This is very important when catering to the children's needs. Disney hotels are a great choice. Your child will be immersed in Disney 24/7. Downtown Disney hotels are good for adults and teenagers. These are my favorite hotels. Bus service is important unless you plan on driving to the parks. Disney bus service as well as bus service for Downtown Disney are very reliable. Be aware if you stay until park closing you will encounter massive bus crowds. Tickets are expensive and you will be tempted to stay at a park from opening to close. If the kids are tired (as well as you) leave. As we all know tired children are not patient. A tired and fighting family will ruin the trip. Research, plan and have fun at WDW.

Getting around Rent a car. Alot easier to get around. Lots to do and see in the area.
