Top Local Tips for Kissimmee

General Information. Kissimmee is well situated for all the theme parks and is directly on the I-4 so getting about is quite easy. There are currently major road works going on all around the Highway 192 area so read the road signs carefully and you should have no problems. I have visited Kissimmee 6 times now over the past 11 years and it has improved each time I come back. There are many attractions in the area and endless restaurants and shops to suit every budget. I think it is better than the International Drive area as it is more open and a bit quieter but there is always something new to see and do.

there are a lot of places to eat and activities Buy food outside the park. bring a small cooler BAG into the park with snacks and water bottles.

Sea World Book dinner with Shamu before the Shamu Rocks show. Worth the money. Up close to Shamu while you eat. Dolly Parton Dixie Show also great value for money and the kids loved it. Shop at the Premium outlet at Junction 68 I4 great value items.
