It really feels like Paradise!

from A TripAdvisor Member
For a relaxing, colorful vacation, try to book a room here at the Paradise Inn. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, and the pool area has plenty of seating in either sun or shade. A block off of Duval Street, but you would never know it. Nice, clean and tastefully decorated, I can't rate it high enough. I can guarantee though, you will love your stay here. The staff is friendly and helpful in every way and the Inn is close to Camille's (up the street) which has great breakfasts and they deliver to the Inn, as well!

Great Stay at the Paradise Inn

from LYFB
My husband and I stayed 3 nights at the Paradise Inn on our 1st trip to Key West. We had a suite which had a refrigerator, 2 TVs, vaulted ceiling w/fan in the bedroom, and more amenities. The nightly turndown service is great, because we always had freshened room to come back to! Plus, they gave us 2 bottles of water and chocolates. The staff are ultra-friendly and very knowledgeable about Key West activities. We sat in the hot tub several evenings. It was very peaceful under the gently swaying Palm Trees. The location of this place is great. It's not on the water, but within walking distance of things to do. Also, it's enough out of the way of some of the craziness happening along it's great for getting some rest. We ate breakfast at the inn 2 mornings and it was light, but had a small variety each morning. Would highly recommend this place to anyone trying to get away from a party atmosphere and willing to spend a little bit extra!

Close to Paradise

Location - two blocks from Duval, but still very quiet
Grounds - lovely landscaping and pool/hot tub area
Concierge - very helpful in regards to restaurants
Services - turn down at night; two water bottles; high end soaps and shampoos

Rooms - very pricey; need to pay closure attention to details (broken curtain; bed comfort only adequent)
Grounds - pool area should pressure cleaned on a regular basis.
Breakfast - very lukewarm; same food each day; very limited continental type breakfast

Very Relaxing

This is our second time staying here and we can't wait to go back. It is such a beautiful laid back little inn that is close to everything. The pool area is very beautiful and the whole Inn is serene. The staff is very friendly and they have a wonderful turn down service where you get two chocolates each and your own bottle of water. We will be back!

My wife and I returned from a stay at the Paradise Inn yesterday and we loved it. It was even better than the pictures. The location could not be more perfect as it is was right in the middle of everything. The rooms are very nice and large but the highlight is definitely the gardens. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the maid service always worked around our schedule, we never felt rushed. There are many great places to stay in Key West (this was our tenth visit), but this place is at the top of our list. The only negative was breakfast and its not that it was bad but it was the exact same (good baked goods, yogurt and a sparce selection of fruit) every day, which gets a little old after five days. This just gave us an excuse to go to a couple of our favorite breakfast places. I wouldn't hesitate recommending the Paradise Inn.

Aptly named!

The Paradise Inn was recommended by a friend and we are grateful for it! The stay was perfect. We received amazing, friendly service and had very clean, lovely rooms. The atmosphere was wonderful and serene. It was a haven from Duval street, close to everything.

lives up to its name

Stayed for three nights and were delighted with our good luck in finding this place, no need to stay in regular motels or hotel chains when there are places like this. Built in the local style, brightly painted with a white picket fence, wooden shutters and French windows leading on to a deck outside every room. The rooms were large with beautiful bathrooms, all very tastefully decorated with very nice touches, like the beds being turned down every night and a chocolate on your pillow, things you expect in a 4 star hotel, not in a guest house It was very relaxing lying in the heated pool or the hot tub surrounded by lush tropical gardens, so very quiet, and only a bloch away from Duval Street. Continental breakfasts were included as was free off street parking ( which is a rarity in Key West) The staff were very friendly and helpful. we could find nothing to fault and cannot rate it high enough.

Just what we expected...

from HollandDutchman
We stayed in the Paradise Inn from September the 7th 2004 till september the 9th 2004. Although a bit pricy compared to other places we stayed in the USA (we travelled to NY and afterwards we drove from Florida to California) this place was excellent: clean, quiet and a nice and large room (we booked the mini-suite for USD 175 (excl. tax) but got an upgrade because business was low).
Nice little pool and hot-tub in beautifull garden. Secure parking and breakfast included (do not expect too much from breakfast). Professionally runned; you do not have to become friends with the pets and/or the owners (we did not notice any pets). Staff; very friendly and discrete. Probably one of the better small hotels / B&B's in Key-West.
Best alternative might be the Wyndham hotels because they have a (small) beach (do not know anything about the quality of the hotel and service).
When choosing hotel in (downtown) Key-West, keep in mind that the town is rather small (everything is walkable; seemed also safe at night) and that there are no real beaches. We had a wonderfull stay.

Danger Schooner Trip If you are looking for a nice day of sailing, snorkelling, kayaking with a healthy meal and a couple of drinks without being treated as cattle this is the way to go! Helpful, knowledgable crew. Book Early!

Moped Hospital Rented bikes from Moped Hospital by Paradise Inn. The bikes had a basket on the back making them unbalanced and a pain to get on and off. Next time I will walk further down the road.
