Have been staying at the Pegasus twice a year for seven years. Last week was so bad,I had to check out after the first night. The locks on the doors were so old they did not work, the pool was filthy, The TV did not work, and the staff was so rude that other guests were checking out early and finding other places to stay. And if that wasn't bad enough, after the first night in there beds, I itched for hours. After a cpld shower, because there was no hot water, I checked out and found another place.

Dry Tortugas Definitely take a day trip to the Dry Tortugas National Park! Fabulous snorkeling and swimming, very cool 19th century fort to tour, excellent bird-watching...absolutely worth the price to visit for the day.

Azul Key West Despite the horrible stay at Pegasus hotel, we had a great time after we moved to Azul Key West, a lovely Bed and Breakfast just a few blocks walk away from the downtown party area of Duval Street. Treat yourself to breakfast at Blue Heaven in Bahama Village (try the Lobster Benedict!) and the Conch Train tour is definitely worthwhile. We love oysters and actually got our fill of them withourt breaking the bank like where we live in California. We love Key West!

TWO FRIENDS PATIO Have to eat there, best food on the island!!!!
