great restaurants Best Pizza - Upper Crust - thin and crispy. Alice's Restaurant was gourmet dining and Mangia, Mangia the best Italian. We loved the Seafood at Sarahbeth's and they also have a great breakfast and lunch menu.

Walk the sidestreets Take the time to explore the quaint sidestreets and neighborhoods in the direction of the cemetary. Notice the gingerbread architectural details and find eyebrow cottages. Enjoy the magnificent displays of bouganvillia and hibiscus residents are carefully tending to. Sip a cup of Ana's Cuban coffee and by all means relax with a perfect mojito at El Meson de Pepe's when near Mallory Square.

There are a lot of things to do in Key west BUT..... Be prepared for it to be a bit white trashy and tacky! It wasn't what we expected at all. The beaches are non existent! they all smell bad - like rotten alge. The town is full of low end bars, gay bars and drag clubs. It is not a family place at all.... mostly a place for midwest college kids to go get drunk without getting carded. No shopping at all - unless your looking for an offensive t-shirt. If we wern't traveling with people that we had to stay for I would have bailed after 1 day!
