We booked a room for my in-laws for Father's Day. When they arrived, the had to pay $6.50 to park at the hotel. The air conditioner was never turned on and when it did work, the room didn't cool down to bearable levels until three in the morning. They decided to go swimming only to be informed that it would be an additional $20.00 charge in addition to the $80.00 room charge. And, if they wanted to swim after 2:00, it would be an additional $30.00. Has anyone ever heard of being charged to swim in the hotel pool? I've lived in the Daytona area for nearly 25 years and never heard of such absurdity. When they actually attempted to contact a human being, they were routed around to so many voicemails they gave up trying. No place in the Daytona Hotels website does it cite all of the additional nickel and dime charges and I am contacting the Greater Daytona Beach Better Business Bureau to report their reprehensible lack of customer service and lack of transparency regarding additional fees. As the title of this review states, our only regret is that the rating cannot go into negative levels. You'd be better off staying at home rather than this experience.

Key West "must sees" My "must sees"for Key West neophytes would include Mallory Square(good site for Key West sunsets),Hemingway museum,Half Shell Raw Bar,Truman summer house, Pirate Soul Museum, Key West Aquarium, and best eatery of all, Blue Heaven!!!!!!!!

The first place to go when you get to Key West .... Head over to the Westin at Mallory Square and have a lobster quesadilla and a mango daquiri. This is the best view of the ocean and Sunset Key. Great food and great for people watching.
