My companion and I were disappointed in that I paid extra and was promised a room facing the pool. However, the romm we received was in the corner with a view of a hallway. You should not charge extra for this type of room. Secondly, I had a new pair of sunglasses taken from the room. Presumably by the housekeeper. I left no tip because of this. Thirdly, I asked the girl at the front desk where to find "Lenny's Restaurant. She had no idea (it's 1 block up the street). Lastly, you need to have a better vending selection. We wanted to get a snack and all you had was bottled water in the machine, no munchies.

The Beach versus In-Land When I go to Clearwater, I typically stay In-Land to avoid the evening commotion on Clearwater Beach. I taxi or find someone staying at the hotel that is also going to the beach and car pool for activities during the day. But at night the best thing to do is to stay In-land, it is much more quiet, and closer to a greater amount of places to eat.

Service Road/Backroads Learn the backroads, will save you time as opposed to sitting at a red light.

If You are a Young Adult You have to check out Shephard's. It's not even two blocks from the hotel. Very nice club. We went on Sunday night. The place was packed and they had DOLLAR drinks. Any once liquor with a mixer or a beer. Great time!!!!
