Top Local Tips for Clearwater

Lots of shopping and a great beach We loved the hotel, great location for shopping and to visit my mom who is retired there. Great beach too. but the pool was nice too.

Parking Get to the beach area early. Clearwater Beach parking lots fill quickly. Take plenty of quarters....MANY parking meters... but read each one carefully....some you do not need to 'feed' after 5 or 6pm, others you need to 'feed' no matter what time of the day. I learned the hard way with a parking ticket! Not too many parking LOTS, but be patient....a spot will open soon somewhere! We never had to circle around for too long. You're on vacation...RELAX and don't stress over parking! Quite of few of the attractions such as parasailing and jet ski places have better prices before noon.
