Insult to injury

The room was dirty. Hair all over the bathroom, etc. And, worse, the customer in the next room had the TV on extremely loud until 6 AM and the Front Desk did nothing about this even after I complained twice. Insult to injury, the next morning when I mentioned this the Front Desk clerk offered to comp two phones I had made for the grand total of two dollars and change.

Rush hour traffic Rush hour starts from 6am to 9:30 am and then starts back up again at 3pm until about 9pm. It can be stand still traffic from up to an half an hour so plan accordingly.
The Old Post office Try lunch in the Old post Office. Cheap, good food, pleasant ambience and a free trio to the top of the tower- free and a gret view if you can't get a ticket for the Washington Monument
