Shopping Stores are nearby; there is a discount store very close to the hotel called Expect that is not very spiffy-looking but contains bargains; kind of like a dollar store with groceries and pharmacy. I liked it but some people might find it too scruffy.

Close to all businesses 5 to 15 minutes This area of Danbury,exit 8, is a great place for all business travelers. With many privately owned and chain restaurants & bars, there is a large variety of dining & shopping in the evenings. Some of the best restaurants away from home!! I recommend staying at the Courtyard by Marriott, not the Holiday Inn. You pay for value at the Courtyard and always have exceeded my expectations. I do suggest making reservations ahead of time to get into the Courtyard, otherwise, you will be like me and stuck at the Holiday Inn.
