Went to Aurora on business April 30, 2005. Had reserved a non smoking room 3 weeks prior through 3rd party as I have a respiratory disease and wanted to make sure I had a CLEAN, SMOKE FREE room waiting on me. Well, I arrived and they STUCK me in a smoking room. I called downstairs to request a different room only to be told they had no more non-smoking rooms. Needless to say, they were less than concerned and I ended up checking out of the hotel and staying at one down the street. THe manager on duty could not get a hold of the owner about refunding any of the money for what was supposed to be a 2 night stay. The manager advised me to call back Monday and speak to the owner. Called back the following weeek and the owner REFUSED to refund ANY of the money that had been paid up front. I don't know what was worse - their screw-up or their blatant 'too bad, so sad' attitude. I would definitely NOT recommend this place!
