The food and service at the Pierpont Inn is 4 star. The rooms are old but clean. The location of the hotel is a two edge sword. It overlooks the ocean and the view is beautiful! But...the 101 Freeway with it's constant noise is between the ocean and the hotel. We have stayed at the Pierpont a number of times. The price is too high for the room and freeway but too low for the service and view so, I guess it overall is about right. We will return.

Gorgeous and Spacious

Our suite was overlooking the Pacific Ocean and was an absolutely stunning view. The rooms themselves are spacious with a charming 1930's feel. The bathroom was a little quaint but that went along with the whole ambience of the surroundings. The staff was lovely without being cloying. I look forward to staying at the Pierpont Inn when I am in California again.
