Winchester House Definitely visit the Winchester House--what an interesting story. I read a little about it on the internet before going (which was helpful in better understanding the history of the place).

Indian/Korean food galore Sunnyvale is strip-mall city. The El Camino Real, its main street, will provide you with an array of dining and shopping opportunities. Most of the rest of the city is housing, especially apartment complexes. the city has made an effort to develop its downtown, it is still a work in progress. A more interesting downtown area is in Mountain View, next door, turn off the El Camino onto Castro. the city leaders make a strong effort to host community events such as annual city-wide garage sales and spring cleaning, I would recommend it as a city to live in. Tourists mainly consist of business travelers, as the city is home to many high-tech companies. The city has the largest community of East Indian immigrants in the state, and likely in the nation, which means there are lots of Indian shopping and dining options. The El Camino Real, where it borders Santa Clara, is also home to many Korean grocery stores, karaoke bars and restaurants. Be sure to try the Afghan House, it has amazing food!
