My wife and I were very disappointed with our stay at your hotel. We paid approximately $80-$85 to stay at the hotel and the room was not up to par. The hotel was going through construction and the room we stayed in was old and needed serious repair. We were placed in a dark area of the htel and it was a bit scary coming back to the room at 1:00 in the morning. We had a guest over and frankly we were embarrassed. I would never stay in that hotel ever again. In fact, this experience has tainted our view of Travelodge's in general. Thank you for the opportunity to comment. Scott A. Incardona
 

Top Local Tips for Santa Monica

Beautiful Try the Holiday Inn around the corner from this hotel. It's wonderful and they are great!

The Grove If you like to shop and eat, check out The Grove--a beautiful new shopping complex near Santa Monica. There is a Farmer's Market adjoining, lots of upscale shopping, and great restaurants.

Hotel prices I usually stay in Santa Monica in transit because it's a pleassant place, much better than downtown LA, but hotel prices there have gone through the roof in the past 3-4 years. My advice - pay a few more bucks even though uit might be painful, rather than stay at a flophouse.
