A friend and I booked a double room online at the Sandpiper. I arrived earlier than my friend and checked in. Although I had asked for 2 beds - I was told that 2 beds would cost more money than what was quoted to me. The receptionist was rude and immature. That night when we arrived back from dinner young guests in another room were throwing a wild party which spilled out into the courtyard. Since the parking lot is in the courtyard which the rooms overlook you could hear everything including the young persons in their cars w/ beer cans and loud car radios. Management was terrible at this place. Hotel guests cannot throw public parties at the expense of other paying guests. Apparently the Sandpiper management could care less.
