Top Local Tips for Santa Barbara
Great Italian food If you are looking for great Italian food try Palazzio on State Street. It is not too far from the hotel. They had some of the best Italian food I have tried and wee lok for Italian in almost every town we visit. The portions are huge (about what I would put out for my family of 4) the nice thingis you can order half portiona and at lunch even a quarter portion which was plenty! THey have fresh rool baked every ten minutes that are deliciously sprinkled with fresh garlic. U had the Sweet Chicken Milano and my husband had the Penne Marsala they were both outstanding. THe house wine is on the honor system and you serve yourself from a choice of two whites and a red.
Homeless Yes, there are a lot of homeless in S.B., mostly in the parks and on the beaches, they are harmless! My suggestion is if you don't like to see them, then do your part to help.
