Top Local Tips for San Francisco

Weather in San Francisco We went early September....I would highly suggest that you go no earlier than that if you stay at the San Remo....there is no A/C, but there is a ceiling fan and you can open the window. When we were there on the 2nd week of September, the nights were very pleasant.

City Pass This is a "must get" for your trip. The coupon book entitles you to unlimited cable car rides and unlimited rides on SF's "MUNI" buses and trains. With all the places we wanted to see, the City Pass was worth the price just for the transportation benefit...but wait, there's more! The coupon book is filled with free admission tickets to some of the best attractions in the city, including the Museum of Modern Art, the Aquarium By The Bay, the Boudin Sourdough Factory and Museum, and much more! There are dining and shopping discount tickets too. If you plan on packing in a LOT of sightseeing in San Francisco, then the City Pass is a MUST!
