I booked this motel at the last minute and was surprised that it was not a complete dump. It is in a very busy area of town and is within walking distance to the warf and union square (if you are young and in good health.) At night it is very load and you should request a room in the back (i did for my second night) and then there was no issue. Also there is no charge for parking.

Travelers be aware! The photos on the website are misleading. It must have been taken over 5 years ago when the motel actually looked good. This is the worst place I've ever seen - very dirty and lacking proper maintenance and renovation budget. Two words: SLUM LORD!

Top Local Tips for San Francisco

Get the Muni Pass Get one of the MUNI passes if you are going to be there for more than a day. This gives you unlimited access on all of the trolleys and muni buses for hte duration of hte pass. Very Handy.
