Excellent location! Sophisticated design!

I recently stayed at Hotel Adagio during the Chinese New Year festivities. This hotel is located in an excellent area of downtown San Francisco -- walking distance to Union Square shopping, Chinatown, Powell Street cable cars, and BART. I loved the room designs -- sophisticated and comfortable. I recommend Hotel Adagio!

I have stayed at dozens of hotels in San Francisco, and none came close to the level of customer service I received at Adagio. Everyone was so gracious, from the young lady who checked me in, to the man on the desk overnight, to the woman who cleaned my room. I can honestly say that Hotel Adagio, for the price, is the best hotel in the City.

If you are looking to stay near Union Square, The Hotel Adagio is the best place to stay. At most it is 6 blocks to Union Square. We walked to all of the great restaurants and bars with ease!It is amazing what they did to make an older hotel turn into a trendy, but comfortable, atmosphere.The Hotel Adagio makes you feel important and special. Each member on their staff was outgoing and very accommodating, even the bellman and valet!I try and refer The Hotel Adagio to anybody that visits San Francisco or anybody looking for a romantic getaway with a trendy twist!

I spent New Year's Eve with my family at the recently refurbished Hotel Adagio in San Francisco. We had a wonderful time! My kids even thought the motif was "cool." It is centrally located, comfortable, reasonably priced and a wonderful weekend getaway. I highly recommend it for both business and family trips to San Francisco.

I had a wonderful experience at the Adagio. To my surprise my room was upgraded to a beautiful suite, with candles lit on the fireplace mantle and rose petals scattered in the bedroom. Plus a bottle of white wine waiting for us in the room. Very nice romantic touch.

Great Rooms! I throughly enjoyed the best service in a hotel environment thus far... The service is impeccable. The Staff made me feel at home. It was truly a great experience! I will definitely stay there again. My guests visiting from out of town loved it!

This is a fun, hip, and fabulous property. The people are nice, the location is great. Everyone should go and try it out. I went on business and will go back on vacation!
Top Local Tips for San Francisco
Go Cars RENT A GO CAR to get around in the city. It is the size of a go cart with a scooter engine and it has a GPS, computer tour built in. So, it takes you around, tells you where you are, and what everything is. It was the most fun and the best way to see the sites.
Parking is a *&^ch Even though taxi's are a pain, parking is worse. If you want to get a renatl car, call ahead and see if your hotel offers free parking, if not, taxi and walk, parking is aroyal pain and finding easy spots will cause you to circle the one way streets endlessly.
Good place to eat Lefty O'douls was a great place to eat, and it was only a block or two down from the Adagio
