First, the bed is really slanted, and makes you want to roll off all night long. The furniture is worn, and in need of replacement.
HERE IS THE BIGGIE** there is a STRIKE going on all around the building. These people are yelling at like 7:30 am and making it impossible to sleep.
It seems the hotel management and current employees know this and don’t say anything to you when you call, or do an internet reservation.
As it turns out, there is a small letter on the front desk, quite far from where your transaction takes place, and there is no one directing you to look at it.
Now I suppose this next one is not the fault of the hotel, but added to the misery of my stay in this place none the less.
It sounded like the people upstairs were juggling billiard balls and in need of a lot of practice. Every minute or so, something heavy dropped. uuuugh!
Stay someplace else.

My group needed a place to stay near San Francisco for a week but almost everything was booked because of the Mac Convention. We were travelling from CES so we had a lot of stuff with us.
When we arrived in San Francisco, there were no rental cars available. I called the Comfort Inn and they arranged to have us and our packages picked up.
The Comfort Inn was a very big surprise. The facilities were above average but the service was exceptional. The staff was willing to help us every way possible. They arranged for us to get to the Bart station, gave us very useful advise.
Each room now has its own Ethernet port so Internet access is not an issue. Wireless access can be spotty but I could get that in my room and access is very good from the lobby.
There was a big difference in the various rooms we stayed in. Everyone in our group was pleased with the beds.
My room smelled of smoke even though it should have been a non-smoking room. I have tolerated worse in more......

Be careful if you want Internet access. It's only available in a few rooms and those are located on the side of the hotel with the highway and train tracks (busy!). Also, my room didn't have an alarm clock while most others did. The knob was missing from the temperature control knob and wasn't fixed for three days. Generally clean, but it's showing it's age. Rate was $53 so it was about what I expected for the price.
