This place was the worst place I have ever seen... note I don't say stayed because we left after being there for one our. It smelled so bad and you couldn't open the windows b/c they had no screens and moths were flying in! It was the biggest rip off of $179. Any good review is written by the owner because no one in there right mind would write something positive about this dump.

Top Local Tips for San Clemente

Train arrival If you fly into any Southern California Airport, you can actually take a train ride that will drop you off infront of the hotel. On top of that it is a great ride down the coast.

Pier Check out the restaurant on the pier for great seafood. It is separated in two sides. THe bar side, and the proper sit-down dinner side. Both are great!

Great for only a day San Clemente is a great little town to walk around for the day. I would not stay there again. On our second day we headed up to Huntington, which has a much better beach and soft sand.
