Nice and Clean but too far from attractions

I stayed there for 4 nights during my travels in California, after spending 4 days in La and anther 4 in San Diego. Hotel is nice and clean, staff is helpful also cheap. But breakfast means just toast with butter or jam, and tea/juice/coffee, or cereals. Not much really, I only went down the first night day after that, I just got my own breakfast. And the gym is a small room with 2 or 3 equipments, not much. But the most difficult thing was getting into San Francisco, this place is far, not in SF at all. Close to the airport but.. I had to catch a Bus to the nearest BART station, busses come once every 30 minutes, then another 20 minutes or so ride on the BART to Powell Station, so not advisable if you will go out at night, as there is no transport after hours. And it is far, you will pay a lot of money on taxis.
