SO MUCH TRAFFIC...but Stamofrd Campus is worth it Be ready for traffic all the time in getting around Palo Alto. The Stanford campus is beautiful. But confusing as heck to get around and to find the different gyms. libraries etc. Once you get out of the mind numbing traffic and endless stoplights in Palo Alto there is so much to see and enjoy on campus. The walking tour of all the outdoor art is very special. I particularly loved Alexander Calder's Le Faucon and the Rodin sculptures. The Church is one of the prettiest I have seen in the US.The Stanford Shopping Mall is AWESOME. Bring a boat load of cash or a very large credit card account. The flowers were gorgeous at the mall. Neat concerts there too.

Stanford University Easy to get to Stanford using their shuttle, or if you prefer you can drive.
