Halfway decent resort. Was here 18 years ago, it has gone downhill. Still has a nice pool, but tattered around the edges.

Sherman's Deli Sherman's Deli and Bakery is just down the street. Outstanding sandwiches and bakery but during any lunch or dinner hours you WILL have to wait. Save room for desert! Many other fine restaurants and shops within walking distance on Palm Canyon Drive ("downtown" Palm Springs).

Wyndham Palm Springs is Horrible I have been in the travel industry for 18 years and I have never experience this bad of service. I have stayed at two star properties with better service. We were staying at this resort for a cheer competition along with our whole group at West Coast All Stars. Which was about 50 rooms minimum. First the hotel was totally under staffed for being sold out. The air conditioning did not work a 100% of the time. The daily cleaning would consist of making the bed and throwing trash. Room service was a hour wait. One of my fellow parents said that the he tried to call room service at 10:45pm and they never answered. He called the front desk and the manager told him "isn't a little late eat?" He referred him to the local Denny's. The staff at the bar were arguing in front of customers. Some people waited a hour to get a drink. Totally not exceptable for any hotel! Bathrooms in the lobby area were filthy and had no toilet paper. Another one from our group found bed bugs in her sofa bed. And the front desk said oh those are not bed bugs.....then what were they? I paid $179 per night the most that i have ever paid ever! And this was a horrible experience!!!!! Our entire group will never stay here again we would rather stay somewhere further from the event to have a better experience. I think that some sort of compensation is due to myself and my family. And I suggest that some check the service level at this hotel because are making a bad impression of Wyndhams. Skip it The most overpriced town on the planet. It's old. It's cosmetically enhanced (just like it's residents) to fool even the most seasoned traveler.
