Ballantines is a retro themed hotel in which all the 13 rooms are individually designed around a particular icon or era. The rooms- all ground floor - surround the beautifully maintained pool. Rat Pack Music is played (quietly)around the pool area all day which adds to the ambience perfectly. Breakfast is available in the lounge area which is a homage to rero chic. My love of this hotel is due to the feeling that you are a house guest rather than a hotel resident. It is relaxing, interesting, and feels very glamorous.There is no restaurant but a fridge is provided in each room and it is only a short hop into the centre of Palm Springs. Perfect for couples, honeymooners, solo travellers and retro fans who want a relaxing hotel which is still near enough to the action.
