Top Local Tips for Palm Springs

Dining and Activities There are many family -locally owned restaurants-several within a block or two of the Alexander Inn as well as downtown-stick to these and take in the Thursday night street fair. Palm Springs is bicycle friendly and offers some excellent hiking in the canyons just south of this hotel. For fresh food so you can take advantage of the kitchen, check out Trader Joe's nearby on Palm Canyon Drive.

Cipollini Restaurant This is a new restaurant on the southside of Palm Springs. The food is very good. You can eat outside and there is a piano player in the bar. very nice.

Palm Springs Aerial tram Bring hiking boots, it's amazing and has 54 miles of trails up 5500 feet and a 12 minute ride! easy 3/4 mile trek for kids up to very experienced hikers.
