Top Local Tips for Napa

not much nightlife We only found 2 places with a band and dancing. A restaurant called Uvva in downtown Napa and the Silverado Resort. Both places offered food service in the bar area. Uvva had a great jazz combo and the Resort had a 4-piece band playing rock songs. Not much after that

Modern Art in the Hills Check out The Hess Collection Winery and his amazing art.

Winery Tour in a Cave Visit Jarvis Winery for a fantastic tour of their wine making facility in a huge cave inside a mountain. Very unique tour and much better than just doing the standard tasting in a crowded room full of tourists. Arrangements can be made on their website. There is a cost per person, but it's worth it. We were the only ones on our tour on Tuesday afternoon and our guide stayed longer with us talking to us about the wines. Jarvis is located in the hills, several miles east of Napa.
