Good wine in Napa If you want to avoid headaches, then stay away from the Hawthorn Suites in Napa

oxbow market I had read about this new market place but it was disappointng with overpriced shops and no view or ambience. Very industrial feeling. It might improve when more shops are added. We went to a local brewery on the river instead and we welcomed with open arms for the happy hour. Local breweries are almost always interesting places and the owners are always willing to talk about their beer.

Copia/Oxbow Copia is a very interesting museum dedicated to food, wine and art. Spend some time in the gardens outside. The wine tasting self-serve bar is pretty cool and let's you try a lot of different wines from all over the place -- a nice touch. OXBOW market is incredible. Too many great foods/shops all in one place. Wish we lived a lot closer to Oxbow! Oxbow and Copia share a parking lot -- they're very close to each other.
