Top Local Tips for Lompoc

if you do not have a car, this place is not for you things to do w/in walking distance=museums + WalMart, things to do w/car=JOCKO's STEAKHOUSE(45 minutes away) the trio is definitely worth their pork chops, CHUMASH CASINO(40 minutes away)=walk to WalMart for a complimentary shuttle that operates 24 hrs, NIGHTLIFE=(i forgot the name but it's the only CLUB in Santa Maria which is about 30 minutes away), everything else will be more than an hour away like SantaBarbara which is a college town so plenty of things to do there or the Hearst Castle in the opposite direction but still more than an hour away. These are the only places i can think of that are worth somebody's time for now, we hope that your stay and experience will be more pleasant than ours, good luck:-)

Jalama Beach Jalama Beach is worth the 15 minute drive from Lompoc. Grab a burger at the Jalama Beach Grill. Very rustic burger joint w/ a view at the camp ground there.
