Parking for Shopping Parking to shop at the big shopping arena in South Lake Tahoe is wretched, especially in winter when the ski lift is running. You cannot park in the Raley's Center for more than one hour and there is not any parking to be had across the street at the other center. We found that if you park by the great "Neighborhood" bookstore and shop in that center, move your car to another space (still on that side away from Raley's) and then go across the street you should be o.k. Parking in Raley's near the other center means ticket/tow for sure!

Mountain Biking Mecca Tahoe has so much to offer in the way of bike trails. From easy, along the shoreline paved trails to SICK single track monsters. We loved all the bike trails such as the Flume Trail and the Powerline trail next to Heavenly. We are definitely going back to get dirty!
