Trip to Rathlin Island Admittedly not a lot on the island but enough for a day's walk - exploring where Marconi transmitted his first radio call, Robbie the Bruce's cave and the bird santuary etc. There's a good info/musuem plus several bars - recommend the smaller one (Manor House NT owned) by the ferry landing point. Ferry cost was £10 each/return for an adult and took only 15 mins. Recommend the burger bar (Emma) - to the right of the main pub - serves freshly caught fillets of mackerel (caught by her Dad!). Just along from here we found 6 or so seals on the shore. Good views to Scotland (Mull of Kintyre, Islay & Jura).A good day out.
