Top Local Tips for Huntington Beach

Go down to Huntington beach around the pier LA Miny vacation: Walk down to the pier & just enjoy the dolphins that are swimming around, eat at Duke's Barefoot Bar & get the fish tacos, or at Ruby's Diner at the end of the pier, good burgers (but a little thin) & good shrimp club sandwich & huge variety of shakes & MALTS :) . Then there's a cute little shopping/restaurant/yuppie/surfy village up from the pier.

Need a Car recommend you visit Newport and Laguna beach area. Fit in a trip to Fashion Island at Newport and have a go at surfing - fantastic fun, but be prepared for the muscle aches and don't forget your sun block for your face and feet. Take a trip to Old Orange and have a bite to eat at the Old Grinder (corner of Glassell and Mapel)- very friendly. Also Mimis Diner on the PCH heading towards Long Beach near Seal Beach - corner of Sstudebaker/PCH was fab food.
